Quick drying anti-rust primer. It contains zinc phosphate and a combination of highly waterproof resins.
Fields of Application
It has an excellent adhesion on iron, aluminium, stainless steel, copper, bronze, tin, wood and polyester. In some kinds of surfaces, such as certain types of stainless, it may be necessary to sand the surfaces in order to open pores. Its is recommended as a primer on submerged surfaces, for marine protection
DRYING:1 - 2 hours
PRESENTATION:400 ml
Finish:Satin
Shake the spray can for 1 minute while hearing the mixing balls. The surfaces to be coated have to be clean, dry and degreased. Apply by thin crossed coats at a distance of 25 to 30 cm. Apply two thin coats instead of one single thick coat. Improved protection and a smoother finish will be achieved.
Paint always at a temperature 3ºC above the dew point.
BARE SURFACES:
Polyester: Thoroughly degrease with TITAN YATE Thinner, light sand, remove dust and apply 1 coat of TITAN YATE Marine Primer.
Wood: Apply one or two coats of Spray Marine Primer on dry and sanded surfaces.
Iron, steel, etc.,: Remove rust, grease and dirt. Once the surface is dry, apply two coas of Marine Primer.
Submerged iron: Seek advice for every paint operation.
Non-ferrous metals: Degrease and dry. Apply 1 coat of Marine Primer. When priming stainless steel, and depending on its particular characteristics, previously sand in order to improve adhesion.
MAINTENANCE OF PREVIOUSLY COATED SURFACES IN POOR CONDITION:
Thoroughly remove old coats with TITAN Plus Paint Stripper. Wash with fresh water and proceed as for non-prepared surfaces.
