Acrylic quick-drying coating to protect documents. It repels water and dirt and has a soft and silky touch finish. It does not alter the graphic characters.
On the treated surfaces it produces a colourless, transparent and flexible film which isolates and protects them, diminishing the damage caused by excessive handling, sunlight, dust, moist, snow, etc.

It permanently adheres on the surfaces.

It is possible to write with permanent markers on the surfaces coated with Plasticizer Varnish. This could be especially helpful if there is rain, snow. etc. and also in recreational and/or sports activities outdoors, where notes have to be taken.

Fields of Application

To  protect  documents  such  as  manuscripts,  pictures,  photographs,  maps,  parchment,  titles,  carnets,  identity  cards or newspaper sheets. It can be used as a protective varnish on any kind of paper signs that are to be submitted to outdoor conditions for a short time.

DRYING:Touch dry: 2 hours / Hard dry: 24 hours
Finish:Satin

Shake the spray can for 3 minutes. Do not spray over surfaces painted with synthetic resin lacquer. Previously test in order to see if the product is suitable for the application intended.

On very porous and absorbent surfaces, low grammage or very low quality papers (such as newspapers sheets), apply the varnish by thin and quick spraying, at a distance of 20 cm. Otherwise the varnish could impregnate the surface too much, and the back side print characters will spoil the varnished side appearance. Wait until the first coat dries and apply a second thin and quick coat. Apply as many coats as necessary until achieving the required finish.

On satin and/or gloss surfaces, which are less porous: Apply one or two crossed coat of Plasticizer Varnish. Allow the right interval between coats.

In any case, the more coats are applied, the more noticeable will be the following:
1st. The film thickness will be increased, together with the stiffness, the general protection and the gloss.
2nd. The folding lines flexibility (if any) will decrease. Therefore, the continous handling of the document can peel off its surface.

If a very stiff finish is required, apply the varnish on the document, picture, etc. by both sides. Work every single side separately, keeping the overcoating intervals.
Do not submit the coated surfaces to temperatures higher than 50ºC since they can get lightly sticky.
Before handling the plasticized paper (that is to say, before folding it, filing it, framing it, etc.), allow 24 hours to ensure that it is thoroughly hard dry.
