TITAN YATE Polyurethane + Acrylic Enamel is the most hard wearing two component yacht paint. Combining polyurethane and acrylic formula offers maximum strength performance in marine environment and restistance against chemicals. It is suitable for any non submersing surface on boats or structures exposed to marine or coastal condition. Non altering high gloss and non yellowing.

Outdoor and indoor use. For the decoration and protection of surfaces in marine environments or under strain. Long life. Long colour and gloss retention. Especially recommended for direct application on polyeste

Drying at 23ºC 60 % RH (UNE 48301): 4 - 6 hours
Recoat time at 23ºC 60% HR (UNE 48283): 12 - 24 hours (After 24 h., lightly sand before applying the next coat)
Mixing Rate: Base: 4 parts / Hardener: 1 part
Pot Life at 23ºC: 4 - 8 hours
Fields of Application: Brush, Roller and Spray-gun (Application by brush is only recommended
for small or narrow surfaces)
Equipment Cleaning: TITAN YATE Thinner
Application Temperature, RH<80%: +10ºC - +30ºC
Flash Point (UNE EN ISO 3679) Base: 35 ºC / Durcisseur: 38 ºC

GENERAL REMARKS:
Thoroughly stir the contents in the pack. The surfaces have to be clean, dry and suitably prepared. Remove any rest of dirt grease, poorly adhered rust or old coats by using thinner or paint-stripper, depending on needs.

BARE SURFACES:
Wood: Sand the wood following the wood grain. Clean the surface, remove resin or resin secretion and smooth too sharp edges. Apply TITAN YATE Epoxy Primer.

Iron and steel: Wash, remove rust and apply TITAN YATE Epoxy Primer and M150 Thick Coat Epoxy Primer.

Tile and non ferrous metals: Degrease and apply TITAN YATE Epoxy Primer, depending on needs.

In all cases for:

Indoor surfaces: Finish with 1 or 2 coats of TITAN YATE Polyurethane + Acrylic Enamel.
Outdoor surfaces: Finish with 2 or 3 coats of TITAN YATE Polyurethane + Acrylic Enamel.

MAINTENANCE OF PREVIOUSLY COATED SURFACES IN GOOD CONDITION:
Repair if necessary with TITAN YATE Epoxy Filler. Wash, lightly sand and directly apply 1 or 2 coats of TITAN YATE Polyurethane + Acrylic Enamel.

MAINTENANCE OF PREVIOUSLY COATED SURFACES IN POOR CONDITION:
Completely remove all previous paint coats and proceed as for bare surfaces.
