Antifouling containing HOSTAFLON®. Self-polishing by controlled solubility. Biologically active for the whole product life. It can be directly applied on the majority of well-adhered anti-fouling coats. It does not accumulate old coatings.

Recommended for any kind of sailing boats and motorboats of medium speed (up to 20 knots).

 

DRYING:1 hour / Immersion (Launching): after 12 hours and up to 6 months
APPLICATION METHODS: Brush, roller and spray-gun.

Finish:Silky semi-matt

GENERAL REMARKS:
On TITAN YATE Epoxy Primer, apply the antifouling between 12-24 hours after the last coat.

Important: In areas of higher wear, such as waterline, keel, rudder, etc., it is recommended an additional coat, since water turbulence speeds up self-polishing.

BARE SURFACES:
Polyester: De-grease with TITAN YATE Thinner and apply 1-2 coats of TITAN YATE Epoxy Primer in intervals of 24 hours (For osmosis prevention, apply m-150 Epoxy Primer).

Metal: Apply 3-4 coats of TITAN YATE M-150 Epoxy Primer, strictly following the instructions of the pack.

Wood: It has to be clean and dry. Apply 2 coats of TITAN YATE Epoxy Primer, the 1st coat thinned with 20% TITAN YATE Thinner.

MAINTENANCE OF PREVIOUSLY COATED SURFACES IN GOOD CONDITION:
On the majority of old well-adhered antifouling coats wash with fresh water jet and apply directly.

MAINTENANCE OF PREVIOUSLY COATED SURFACES IN POOR CONDITION:
On poorly adhered coats, remove completely with TITAN Paint Stripper, followed by a wash with fresh water and afterwards treat it as a bare surface.
