Two-component primer. High adhesion, water resistance and protective effect. It is the suitable primer for the TITAN YATE products.

Fields of Application:
For submerged surfaces or by the sea, especially on iron, aluminium, stainless steel, wood and polyester.

DRYING: 2.5 - 3 hours
APPLICATION METHODS: Brush, roller and spray-gun.
Finish: Semi gloss

Carefully stir the contents in the packbefore use. The surfaces to be painted have to be clean, dry and degreased.

BARE SURFACES:

Polyester: Thoroughly  remove  grease  with  TITAN  YATE  Thinner.  Lightly  sand  before  applying  one  coat  of  TITAN  YATE Anticorrosive Epoxy Primer.

Metal:
Submerged surfaces: Remove rust. Apply one coat of TITAN YATE Epoxy Primer. After 24 hours 3 - 4 coats of TITAN YATE M-150 Thick Coat Epoxy Primer (450 μ).
Non-submerged surfaces: Remove rust. Apply 2 - 4 coats of TITAN YATE Anticorrosive Epoxy Primer in intervals of 24 hours.

Wood:Apply 2 coats of TITAN YATE Epoxy Primer. Thin the first coat with 20% TITAN YATE Thinner.

MAINTENANCE OF PREVIOUSLY COATED SURFACES IN GOOD CONDITION:
Rinse with fresh water jet and directly apply..

MAINTENANCE OF PREVIOUSLY COATED SURFACES IN POOR CONDITION:
Completely remove previous coats with TITAN Plus Paint Stripper. Rinse with fresh water and proceed as for bare surfaces.
