Clean with solvent eventual spots of oil, paint or wax, and lightly sand wood. Dust off and apply one coat of TITAN Polyurethane Varnish for Wooden Floors following wood grain. This first coat has to be glossy. 24 hours later gently sand, remove dust and apply a second coat of TITAN Varnish for Wooden Floors. This second coat can be glossy or satin depending on the required finish.. Upon staining wood with water-based walnut stain, allow drying for 10 hours minimum before applying the first thin varnish coat.

MAINTENANCE OF PREVIOUSLY COATED SURFACES IN GOOD CONDITION: Ensure maximum adhesion by sanding, mechanically if possible; wash with warm water and powdered detergent and rinse out. Once dry (24 - 48 hours) clean joints and cracks with solvent to remove any trace of wax and polishing, and proceed as
described for bare wood.

MAINTENANCE OF PREVIOUSLY COATED SURFACES IN POOR CONDITION: Unsound varnish (cracked or flaky) or two-component varnishes have to be completely removed by deeply scrapping and proceed as for bare wood.
