Especially formulated as a preventive treatment against Osmosis. Thick coat rust- preventive primer to be applied on iron and aluminium. Especially for submerged surfaces.

Fields of Application
Submerged surfaces or in marine environments, where a high coat thickness is required. Surfaces have to be previously primed with TITAN YATE Anticorrosive Epoxy Primer.

DRYING:8 hours
APPLICATION METHODS: Brush, roller or spray-gun.
Finish:Semi gloss

GENERAL REMARKS:
Carefully stir the contents in the pack before use. The surfaces to be painted have to be clean, dry and degreased.

BARE SURFACES:

Polyester: For osmosis treatment, remove the gel-coat. Confer roughness to the surface, rinse with  fresh water and let to thoroughly dry. Apply 1 coat of M150 TITAN YATE Epoxy Primer (thick coat), thinned with 15%  TITAN YATE Thinner. Let to dry for 24 hours. Fill if necessary with TITAN YATE Epoxy Filler. Finish with 3 - 4 coats of  M150 Thick Coat Epoxy Primer.

Iron And Aluminium: Remove rust and apply 1 coat of TITAN YATE Epoxy Primer. After 24 hours, apply 3 coats of  M150 TITAN YATE Epoxy Primer (thick coat). If more than 3 days elapse, sanding is always required

MAINTENANCE OF PREVIOUSLY COATED SURFACES IN POOR CONDITION:
Thoroughly remove previous coats with TITAN Plus Paint Stripper. Wash with fresh water and proceed as for bare surfaces. In case of polyester surfaces, do not apply TITAN Plus Paint Stripper but remove old coat by using a mechanical procedure.
